Record Summary View
A Record Summary Page gives a summary of a record as follows:
- Title - the title of the work.
- Author/Creator - the author or creator of the work.
- Medium/Type - the media type of the resource held, for example: Tactile Text - Braille.
- Format - the format of the resource, for example: Braille 2.
- Produced / Published By - who the work was produced or published by.
- Date Produced / Published - when the work was produced.
- Subjects - a listing of the subjects to which the work is related.
- Summary - a summary or abstract of the work.
- URI or Unique Resource Identifier such as an ISBN number.
- SURI or Source Unique Resource Identifier from which the copy has been made
- Rights And Restrictions - any rights or restrictions relating to the work, for example copying and distribution rights.
- Item Status - whether the resource is Available or On Loan.
At the end of the page, you can choose to:
- Request the item - which links to the request form. Or...
- View Details - which links to a Record Detail View
Alternatively, you may choose to cycle through your results by following either the Next Record or Previous Record links. Selecting the next or previous record displays that record in Summary View mode as well. Finally there are also links to go Back to the Search Results Page or to start a new search.
