Types of Print Disability
Individuals with print disabilities are those who are unable to read standard print materials and who require access to alternative formats due to blindness, a visual impairment, a mobility impairment, or a particular learning disability. Below you will find brief descriptions of the various types of print disability and related organisations or services.

- European Blind Union
The European Blind Union is a non-governmental and non profit-making European organization founded in 1984. It is one of the six regional bodies of the World Blind Union, and it is the only organization representing the interests of blind and partially sighted people in Europe.

Learning Disabilities
- Dyslexia Association of Ireland
The aim of this organisation is to "promote awareness of specific learning disability (dyslexia) and to serve the needs of people with this difficulty." Although focused on the issue of dyslexia at primary and secondary level, the site does provide general information and the association will arrange for adults to obtain a psycho-educational assessment. - AHEAD (Association for Higher Education Access and Disability)
